Product Leadership 101 and 102 combine to form an intensive cohort-based program designed to prepare high-performing product managers for their next career step: leading teams of product managers in the AI era.

 

Students who complete this course will be ready to search for and succeed in their first Product Leadership role.

Course Description

"Foundations of Strategic Product Leadership" is the first part of our comprehensive Product Leadership 101 program. This course is designed to elevate high-performing product managers into strategic product leaders. Over 14 weeks, you'll develop crucial skills in strategic thinking, team leadership, and cross-functional influence. We'll introduce you to AI tools relevant to product management and show you how to leverage data for better decision-making. Through interactive sessions, real-world case studies, and hands-on projects, you'll learn to shift your mindset from tactical execution to setting product vision and crafting organizational strategy. By the end of this course, you'll have the foundational skills and knowledge needed to lead teams of product managers and drive high-level decisions in your organization.

Course Description

"Advanced Product Leadership in the AI Era" is builds upon the foundations laid in Part 1 to tackle complex challenges faced by senior product leaders. This 14-week intensive course focuses on advanced product strategy, scaling organizations, and leveraging AI for product innovation. You'll master executive communication, stakeholder management, and ethical product development practices. Through interactive sessions, real-world case studies, and personalized coaching, you'll learn to apply AI-driven solutions to complex product leadership challenges. By the end of this course, you'll be equipped with the strategic mindset, AI knowledge, and leadership skills needed to excel in senior product roles and drive organizational success in today's rapidly evolving tech landscape.

About your instructor

Join me on this journey to elevate your product management skills and prepare for the next step in your career.

With over 20 years of experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, and Product Leadership, I bring a wealth of knowledge and practical insights to this course. My career spans across technology giants like T-Mobile, Qualcomm, and Sony, where I've driven groundbreaking product launches, grown existing businesses, and captured new markets.

As the former Director of Product Management at HERE Technologies, I led the development and launch of the HERE Marketplace, a self-serve platform for location-based datasets and services. I also spearheaded the growth of HERE's Developer Community, contributing to over 100% year-over-year growth for three consecutive years.

My expertise extends beyond the corporate world into academia. I'm currently an Adjunct Professor at University of Washington’s Foster School of Business and Seattle University's Albers School of Business and Economics, where I teach Strategy to both undergraduate and graduate-level students. This role allows me to blend theoretical concepts with real-world applications, preparing the next generation of business leaders.

I hold an MBA and an MS in Engineering from UCLA, bringing a unique combination of business acumen and technical knowledge to product management. My approach is deeply rooted in customer-centric product vision, data-driven decision making, and strategic planning.

I'm passionate about sharing my knowledge and experience and, through this course, I aim to equip you with the tools, strategies, and insights needed to excel in product leadership roles in today's AI-driven business landscape.
